i'm helping my niece do her homework
she's five and learning how to read and write
and it blows my fucking mind
i hardly remember learning how to do that stuff
i feel like i just came out of the womb with the knowledge
isn't insane that you know how to speak a language before you have any idea what the words you say look like?
sarah speaks english very well but she can look at a billboard and it might as well be chinese.
